Send our Residents to the Rock Eagle Men's Conference

This October, we have the opportunity to send Legacy Home residents to a men's recovery workshop in Eatonton, GA. They'll spend 2 days in classes, group sessions, seminars, and fellowship alongside other men in recovery, many of whom bring years of sobriety, experience, and wisdom to share.

We took residents to this same workshop in the spring of 2024, and it was a turning point for many of them. It's important for men to see that recovery doesn't just happen within the 4 walls of the Legacy Home. This event gives our residents a chance to step outside those walls, stand shoulder to shoulder with men further down the road than they are, and see — not just hear — what a sustained recovery actually looks like.

It costs $2,500 to send our full group of residents. Every dollar goes directly toward registration, room/board, meals, and transportation so that cost is never the reason a resident misses this experience.

What It Means to Residents

It soon gave me hope that there could be fun in sobriety and recovery, and that community was at the heart of it all. It costs $85 per resident to attend the conference, and this registration fee also covers room, board, and food for the weekend.
