Breaking Down Barriers to Recovery

At the Legacy Home of Recovery, we believe that financial hardship should never stand between a man and his chance at recovery.

While residents pay a weekly fee once they're employed, life circumstances can create a gap between readiness to recovery and the ability to pay.

That's where you come in.

The Resident Scholarship Fund bridges the gap for men who are ready to change their lives but need financial support to make it happen. Your gift ensures that a man's commitment to recovery-- not his bank account-- determines where he gets the help he needs.

Every dollar you give covers the essentials that make recovery possible:

  • Room and board in a safe, sober environment
  • Meals and basic hygiene necessities
  • Transportation to work, court hearings, and medical appointments
  • Counseling and mentorship with trained professionals
  • Recovery resources including a 12-step recovery program, job readiness support, and community connection

Gifts of any amount go directly into the Scholarship Fund to support residents who need financial assistance. With a weekly cost of $200, a full scholarship of $5,200 covers the foundational 6-month program. For residents who need extended support, $9,750 provides a full year—initial programming and transitional housing combined.
